“Mavrovo Open 2026” – World Carp Cup Successfully Concludes

The “Mavrovo Open 2026” World Carp Cup has successfully concluded. The competition was held from 20 to 23 August at Lake Mavrovo, organized by the Macedonian Fishing Federation, with the Public Institution National Park “Mavrovo” as the host of the event.

A total of 33 teams from several countries participated in the competition. During the tournament, 495 carp were caught, with a remarkable total weight of 1,375.5 kilograms.

1st place: Team from Lithuania – 117.42 kg
2nd place: Carp Pro Puhatch Baits 3 – Ukraine – 102.22 kg
3rd place: Carp Pro Puhatch Baits 4 – Ukraine – 98.19 kg

Biggest fish caught: Team Croatia 1 – 9.61 kg

The Public Institution National Park “Mavrovo” congratulates the winners and all participants on an excellent competition, outstanding sporting spirit, and the successful organization of this important international event.

Once again, Lake Mavrovo has proven to be an excellent destination for top-level sport fishing, as well as a place where nature, sport, and friendship come together.
