THE 26TH WORLD CARP FISHING CHAMPIONSHIP – MAVROVO 2026 HAS COME TO AN END!

On 5 September 2026, a closing ceremony was held in Mavrovo, where the most successful teams were announced, awards were presented, and the 26th World Carp Fishing Championship – Mavrovo 2026 was officially brought to a close.

The top three teams of the championship were:

🥇 1st Place – Ukraine
🥈 2nd Place – Hungary
🥉 3rd Place – Lithuania

🏆 The award for the biggest carp, weighing 8.075 kg, went to the Polish team.

Mavrovo National Park extends its congratulations to the winners and to all participants for their outstanding skills, sportsmanship and fair play throughout the entire championship! 👏🎣

For Mavrovo National Park, it was a great honour to host such a prestigious international sporting event.

With its unique natural surroundings, Lake Mavrovo once again proved to be an ideal location, offering excellent conditions for hosting major international competitions. 🏔️🎣
