Official Announcement – PI Mavrovo official member of the EUROPARK Federation

Dear readers, it is our utmost pleasure to inform you that PI Mavrovo has officially become a member of EUROPARK Federation. This organization at the moment consists of more than 500 members, representatives of protected areas as well as non-government organizations and other institutions of this kind.

This is a Federation known as Federation of European Parks of Nature and National Parks, established in 1973, with a seat in Grafenau, Germany. The basic aim of this Federation is enabling better management of the national parks, better preservation of natural wealth and initiation of mutual cooperation between the parks as well.

It must be emphasized that through the process of getting of the Certificate for membership EUROPARK federation, Project Dinaridi had a huge role providing significant assistance and support of the National Park Mavrovo in which we use this opportunity to express our gratitude.
