“Mavrovo Open 2026” – World Carp Cup

The “Mavrovo Open 2026” World Carp Cup is currently taking place at Lake Mavrovo from 20 to 23 August, organized by the Macedonian Fishing Federation, with the Public Institution National Park “Mavrovo” as the host of the event.

A total of 34 teams from several countries are participating in the competition, with anglers, judges, and officials coming together for this important international fishing event.

Around 15 competition positions have been set up along the shores of Lake Mavrovo, where the participants are competing for the best result in the discipline of carp fishing.

Once again this year, Lake Mavrovo and National Park “Mavrovo” are bringing together a passion for fishing, sporting spirit, and the beauty of nature.
