Another lynx has been caught in the National Park Mavrovo

Mavrovo National Park, in cooperation with MES (Macedonian ecological society), managed to catch another lynx within the park. Lynx B8, which we have data since 2013, entered in one of the traps set near the village of Sence, in the heart of Mavrovo. This large male (27 kg) is a resident of the park and is photographed at 12 different locations during photo-trap sessions.The data from radio-telemetry will contribute to better understanding its food and habitat needs, and of course the space it owns.
