NP Galicica visits NP Mavrovo

Within the framework of the action plan for the protection of the Balkan lynx, representatives of the National Park Galicica visited the Mavrovo National Park at the invitation of MES (the Macedonian Ecological Society) and the Mavrovo National Park. The purpose of this visit is professional training for catching lynx and how to set up monitoring cameras.  The field visit showed how the lynx trap is set and the operation of the same when the signal is sent when it is captured.

NP Mavrovo and MES expressed their appreciation for the visit in hope of greater cooperation in the future between the three sides.
