The Tourist Information Center is located in the vil. Mavrovi Anovi, on the main road to the Municipality building, i.e. at a distance of about 500m from the Mavrovo Dam. The Information Center is in the new premises and its main purpose is to collect and update the information on tourist accommodation facilities in the region, and make it available to everyone timely and correctly. The users of such information are usually tourists visiting the region, agencies, hotels, etc. In addition, the Center issues various types of licenses required for certain activities on the park’s territory, it has a souvenir shop, organizes meetings and presentations, provides free internet connection for the guests, provides site maps about the routes, and many other things which largely facilitate the tourists’ stay.
The new premises of the Tourist Information Center were opened in May 2010. The Center is open every day from 08.00 to 18.00 h.
